Low system performance directly hindered the company’s dynamic growth. Lack of application fluidity created a real risk of losing the satisfaction and trust of thousands of subscribers using online diets.
Lack of infrastructure scalability and redundancy
The infrastructure lacked automatic scaling mechanisms and redundant resources. The absence of redundancy created a risk of single points of failure, which, during sudden traffic spikes, could lead to complete service outages.
Monolithic architecture limitations:
The legacy application model hindered rapid deployment of new features. The monolith became a barrier that prevented developers from working independently on innovations and drastically extended the time to market for updates.
Limited system visibility and reactive tasks:
Lack of advanced monitoring forced the IT team to constantly fight fires instead of focusing on planned product development. Engineers needed tools that would allow them to proactively detect anomalies before they affected user experience.

The Path to Scalability Step by Step
In response to Centrum Respo’s challenges, we designed a transformation path that combined modern AWS architecture with full process automation. Our actions encompassed comprehensive platform preparation for handling massive traffic while simultaneously relieving the internal development team.
Scope of Work
Architecture Design and Infrastructure as Code
We began with in-depth analysis and workshops, designing a scalable environment based on containerization. We utilized Terraform to build fully automated and repeatable foundations, eliminating the risk of manual errors and creating solid system documentation.
Kubernetes Configuration and Orchestration
We deployed Amazon EKS clusters using Helm templates to standardize services. This enabled efficient deployment of 16 critical microservices in a high availability (HA) model, eliminating single points of failure and ensuring full application portability.
CI/CD Deployment Automation and Monitoring
We implemented ArgoCD, supporting the client’s team in transitioning to secure deployments using the GitOps model. In parallel, we launched comprehensive monitoring and an alerting system providing full platform visibility and enabling proactive response to anomalies.
Optimization and Ongoing Maintenance Support
Based on collected metrics, we precisely configured the infrastructure, balancing performance and costs. After environment stabilization, we placed the system under continuous 24/7 supervision, guaranteeing its reliability and security in the long term.
